At The White Lion Weston, we’re delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new menu, which debuted in August. This latest offering has been months in the making, and we’ve pulled out all the stops to create a culinary experience that pays homage to British pub classics while embracing a few global inspirations. Our aim was to ensure that every guest finds something they love, whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or planning a leisurely meal with friends and family. 

A Taste of Tradition with a Modern Twist

Our new menu showcases a selection of hearty homemade favourites, lovingly crafted by our talented kitchen team. Expect traditional pub staples like fish and chips, cooked to perfection, alongside a flavour-packed chilli con carne, a succulent pan-seared fillet of sea bream, and a rich butter chicken curry, bringing a touch of aromatic spice to the table. 

No menu would be complete without our signature burgers, and this season’s selection does not disappoint. Whether you’re in the mood for a juicy brisket burger, crispy chicken, or a vegetarian halloumi option, each is packed with flavour and accompanied by delicious sides. The White Lion’s Sunday Roast menu also remains a much-loved feature, with generous one, two, or three-course options. Choose from beef, garlic and herb roasted half-chicken, honey and thyme gammon, or a nut roast for a plant-based alternative. Each dish is served with all the trimmings, making it a feast not to be missed. 

Something for Everyone

The creative force behind our new menu is Head Chef Conor, who leads a dedicated team of six passionate chefs. Together, they’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that every dish delivers on flavour, quality, and presentation. Speaking about the new menu launch, Conor shared his excitement: 

“Behind the scenes, we’ve put in months of effort to make sure our menu is inclusive and varied enough for everyone. Whether you’re a family with young children, or a group of friends looking to try something new, there’s something for every palate. We’ve even taken extra care to refresh our Little Lions children’s menu, which now offers eight main course options, so our youngest diners have just as much to choose from as the adults.” 

“Our commitment to local sourcing is also a key part of what makes this menu special. We’ve partnered with well-loved local suppliers such as Snugbury’s for our ice cream and Bradwall Bakehouse for our artisan bread, ensuring that each dish is packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients that support our regional community.”
